I admit, the energy industry is given all this taxpayer money for R&amp;D, but that&#039;s not how it&#039;s spent, evidently, since profits seem to soar even when they&#039;re &#039;losing money&#039;.  I am very much in favor of a true free market, where industry sinks or swims on it&#039;s own, without help or hindrance from the government.

The basic message of the video still holds water, though, as &#039;saving the planet&#039; is but another version of &#039;doing it for the children&#039;, where good-hearted people are blackmailed or misled into regulating and taxing themselves right into serfdom by powerful people who, in the hypocrisy of both their own overindulgient lifestyles and their lust for personal power, are really no different than the energy concerns they claim to despise so much.]]></description>
